New South Park Track

 

Route for new raised track 29 July 2009

Posts marking route of track.

The 1st picture is taken from the top bend at the northern (car park) end of the track looking SSW. The line of posts is coming towards the camera through a clump of bushes.

Looking SSE from the Northern end. On the right of picture 2 is the post at the apex of the Northern bend. The track then runs across the frame to the left the swings southward

 

Having moved further South, picture 3 shows the East side of the loop heads due South but the Western side has swung to run round the Eastern side of clump of trees seen on right of the picture. The two posts in the centre distance shows how close the two sides approach each other.

Further South the track approaches the bottom (Southern) bend. In picture 4 the line of posts can be seen swinging slightly to the right, back to left and the right again to start the Southern bend that runs through the trees.

 

This picture is of the bottom bend swinging to the right through the trees.

The next picture is looking NNW from the end of the bottom bend. The line of posts show the track heading to the right to where the E and W sides of the track come closest.

 

Picture 6 is looking NE towards the point where the E and W sides come closest.

Picutre 7 is looking N. The nearest line of posts running from right to left are the line of the Western side of track from where its ran round the eastern side of the clump of bushes seen in photo 3. In the centre distance the line of posts can be seen entering the bushes from which it was seen leaving in Photo 1
